Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Tics

Tics can resemble ADHD symptoms and occasionally are mistaken for ADHD.  Unlike the fidgeting and hyperactivity associated with ADHD, tics are rapid, repetitive body movements, or sounds, words and phrases that may cause social isolation.

Obsessive – compulsive disorder (OCD) symptoms can be thoughts and behaviors that your child is unable to control.  For example, an obsessive thought could be an exaggerated fear of germs and excessive hand washing (compulsive) is an attempt to eliminate or reduce the fear of getting sick from the germs.

Neurofeedback can help with tics and obsessive-compulsive disorder without the side effects associated with medications.

What People Are Saying

Before BrainCore my son was suffering from various serious conditions. OCD, severe ticks, depression, anger and more. His life was out of control. After just 5 sessions his ticks completely disappeared. He has also made remarkable progress in all areas and feels and acts like a typical teen now. Out of all of the treatments we sought, BrainCore most definitely had the quickest and biggest effect on his recovery.
